Sean S. Crisafulli
Sean S. Crisafulli is a resourceful trial lawyer with a strong litigation background. Before joining Douglas & Carter, Sean served as a prosecutor for the Third Judicial Circuit. During that time, Sean practiced law in six of the seven counties throughout the Third Circuit and litigated both felony and misdemeanor criminal cases from the initial stages of litigation to jury trial, as well as post-conviction proceedings including violations of probation. Sean’s courtroom experience is an invaluable part of the trial team at Douglas & Carter and a major benefit to our clients.
Sean attended the University of Florida Fredric G. Levin College of Law on an academic scholarship, and graduated cum laude with his law degree in 2016. During law school, Sean worked as a research assistant for the University of Florida’s Agricultural Law Center, served as an executive board member for the Journal of Technology Law & Policy, and completed three trial clinics under the Florida Bar’s Law School Practice Program. By the time Sean graduated law school, he had already tried seven jury trials as second chair. Between the Law School Practice program and his time as an Assistant State Attorney, Sean has practiced law in eight counties, appeared in front of more than fifteen different judges, and litigated cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to felony offenses that are punishable by life.
Sean is an active parishioner at Epiphany Catholic Church in Lake City. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and being involved in the local community. His also an active member of the Third Circuit Bar Association.
